It only took me almost 10 months to finish. LOL I got an e-mail from Shutterfly on September 15th giving me a coupon code for a FREE 20 page book, but the expiry date was 6 days away. I still had 22 layouts left to do from the Project but I thought I’d try my hardest to do it just to save the $30 and I did! Took less than 4 days for me to do them all!
Well darn it, I didn’t realize we had no horseradish mustard to make our fondue sauce until after the grocery stores were closed so no fondue for us. I made potato skins for the first time instead and they turned out awesome! I knew Barry wouldn’t make it until midnight (he went to bed at 10:30) so I took this photo early. What a year it’s been…I hope the next one will be better!
After Barry got home and went to his eye app’t to get a new prescription and contact lenses, he picked up my BIL and they went to see Tron Legacy in 3D. He didn’t say much about it besides it was “good!”
My ILs drove the girls home today and my niece came with them to see the toys the girls got for Christmas. They weren’t here for long but they spent most of it playing with their new Liv & Strawberry Shortcake dolls.
Since Kristen and Kaylee are at my ILs until tomorrow afternoon, I took the time to do some errands today so I wouldn’t have to drag them with me later. I returned a few things to the mall (a book of Kristen’s and the Willow Tree figurine Barry bought me), got the groceries we need for our fondue on New Years Eve, went to WalMart to get a few things then to Margolians to buy the Willow Tree figurine I wanted. Then after Barry got home, we went to Frank & Gino’s for supper and Dairy Queen for dessert then went home to watch Sherlock Holmes.
Today we headed to the city to visit my ILs for the afternoon and have supper there which consisted of hot turkey sandwiches, veggies and home made fries. Yummy! The day was really foggy but as we got closer to the city the sun started peeking through. The sky was really pretty at that point!
Today was my parents annual Boxing Day party. I didn’t take any photos through the whole party so I nabbed this one of Kristen and my cousin Anslee right before Anslee left. Hard to believe she’s a year younger than Kristen!
Merry Christmas! The girls got up at 6:30 this morning. I was hoping for a bit later since I stayed up until 1:30. The girls loved everything they got. We withheld their main presents so they were a bit bummed for a few minutes but then we gave it to them. Kristen loves her DSi…LOVES it!
I'm a self-professed "mamarazzi" photographer...my kids are well trained to pose and smile when a camera is pointed at them. :) I currently work with a Nikon D3000 and even though I have a long way to go to be of professional caliber, I love learning new techniques!
