Thursday, June 21st, 2007I just put 3 new products into the store today! Check these out & grab them in the Toybox now!
So the Children’s Aid woman called yesterday. She wants to make an appointment to talk to both my husband and I together then after that she wants to call my ILs and talk with them since Kristen spends a lot of time with them. Not sure when we’ll make an app’t for, but it’ll be before next weekend.
I’m off to scrap! Yippee! I just bought Kay Miller’s Enchanted kit to scrap Kristen’s birthday pics with, so I guess I’ll start there. Have a great day!

Finally, I did a layout last night with Kristen’s 5 year portrait using Melissa Bennett’s Marmalade kit. The colors were perfect for it!

So yesterday I was able to go gift & grocery shopping by myself! Instead of just picking up Kristen and leaving, my MIL stayed to watch the girls while I went out then took Kristen with her when I got home. Took me an hour and a half to get my shopping done and only a half an hour to get groceries. I bought DH “National Treasure” and “Clerks: The Animated Series Uncensored“. He’s been wanting National Treasure for a while and we just never got around to buying it. And Clerks…well, I just needed to buy something else and since he likes the movies, I figured he might like the cartoons. LOL

{Still nada}
Sunday, June 10th, 2007Nope. Still no new designs. I just don’t have the mojo for it right now. I tried…it didn’t work. My shoulder muscle is still bugging me and it sometimes spreads into my arm and makes me feel like I don’t want to use it. I think this pain is sucking the mojo right out of me. 
I did get a page done this morning though. I’ve had Lisa Whitney’s kit “Chalk Full of Fun” since about the minute it came out and finally got around to using it! I only used a small part of this kit…it is huge! (there are 4 different parts you can buy separately) Love every bit of it!

Oh! One thing I will be putting in the store on Thursday is the set of bent photo templates I made back in January as a blog freebie.

{The Loot Bag revealed & a big whoops!}
Thursday, June 7th, 2007So here’s what the loot bag contained…a $5 coupon to my store, and these 2 element packs! You can grab the elements in the Toybox right now, but the coupon has gone in the trash…sorry! LOL
That’s it for new products this week. Guess it was a little mini-break for me not feeling well. Back to the grind this week though!
Oh, and my big whoops…I just realized I never put Star Bright into the store when I opened! LOL So if you’ve never seen it before, here it is! I combined the kit and the add-on so now it’s a super huge kit! I’m uploading the files now so it’ll be in the Toybox within a few minutes!
I made a page yesterday using the Cheaters Challenger template #3 and Carrie’s “Inflorescence” kit (which is only $3). Every time I ask Kaylee to say “cheese” when taking her picture, she just does this…squeezes her cheeks instead. LOL She has the most squishable cheeks!
DH came home a day early! They finished up what they were doing so decided to come on home and start a new project next week. I hope I start sleeping better when he goes away next week. I want to enjoy the snore-less time! Last night was a bust though…I’m not sure what I can do pillow-wise. I’ve tried 1 pillow, 2 pillows, foam pillows, feather pillows…right by my should blade near the middle of my back still feels like a nerve is being pinched or something.
I have to call the Water Commission today. I don’t think it’ll do any good for our problem though. We have a duplex and the water turn off thingy on our neighbors side (close to the middle between our yards, but still hers) sticks out of the ground and there is a huge hole right next to it like an animal dug it’s home in there or something. Kristen fell in it last week and got stuck, luckily not spraining her ankle or anything, then yesterday she fell on it and banged up her shin. I think it would be the property owners problem to fill the hole, but the metal thingy would still be sticking out. She’s the type that won’t do anything anyway and she has 2 kids to think of. She just doesn’t care. DH says if something happens to Kristen because of her negligence, we’ll be suing her. I’ll see what the WC can do and then go talk to her today I guess. I don’t think we are the ones that should be doing anything about it, but she is very irresponsible, so nothing would get done and kids could get hurt.

Yesterday I finished up converting those Scallopini templates for those who scrap 8.5×11, so they will be in the Toybox on Thursday!
I just uploaded the funniest video of Kaylee. She LOVES music and dancing, and this just proves it. Looks like she’s doing some sort of salsa dance or something. LOL Forgive the “no shirt” thing…she’s in the stage right now where being nekkid is better. LOL
I managed to get a layout done last night while I was watching “Slither” using Kristin’s The Good Life kit. I had scrapped this photo before, but I made it sepia toned and didn’t really ever care for it a whole lot, so I had to scrap it with this kit. Isn’t it just perfect for the photo?

Friday, May 25th, 2007I slid my way into KristinCB’s CT by sweet talking her. LOL Actually, she’s been a friend for a while now and I made a blinkie for her (using graphics she made) so I just said that it was so cool I’m going to have to sport it in my siggie, and she said “okay!” LOL I’m loving her new Shimmer Shoppe stuff & her new kit Oh Happy Day at SBG! Gonna have to get down to some serious work now using her stuff!
I just put in the Toybox what I was giving out at the chat the other night…my new set of scalloped double folded corner templates! Get them here for only$3!
So I did end up scrapping yesterday..I’m really getting into using my CS2 for templates and thought it would be easier to do it in 12×12 first rather than resizing everything then putting it into the page…well, it took longer because of that so I didn’t finish it until this morning. Anyway, here it is, using Carrie’s “Rockin Robin” kit and my template for this week’s Cheaters Challenge @ JLD!
That’s it for me today! Next thing I make will be a set of 8.5×11 templates.
