Here’s my final layout for the year! Now I’m off to edit all my layouts to prepare for making a Shutterfly book of them all!

Well, it’s been an interesting year! I’m so proud of myself for sticking with this project! Tonight DH and I had a fondue and watched Let’s Make a Deal since the fondue is loud and we wouldn’t have to really concentrate on hearing the show. I figured DH would be asleep by the time midnight came about so I took our picture early. Happy New Year!! I hope 2010 will be as great as this one was!

I took the girls shopping this morning so they could spend their Christmas money and to pick up a few things and return something as well. The girls each got a Moxie Girl doll Kristen got a hard cover word search book, colored pens and Hannah Montana Valentines (she thinks ahead like her Mommy LOL), Kaylee got a Princess Daisy figurine like her sister’s, Princess game pack & a Dora sticker/background book, and I bought a torchiere lamp for the desk area downstairs because it is so dark, a gift for niece who turns 8 on New Years Day,and a few other small things. Since we were at Walmart at lunchtime I took the girls there to eat. Both girls ate ALL of their food…that never happens!

Today I decided to take down the tree in the family room despite my aching rib (from my fall on Dec.18th) and Marlie figured she’d try and “help” me do it. LOL The only thing I couldn’t do was take apart the tree and stuff it in the box because trying to use my muscles too much hurts my rib a LOT.

Today was a stay-at-home day. DH took out the telescope we borrowed from my ILs to look at the moon. It was neat seeing the craters so close up!

Today was my family’s annual Boxing Day party (which is a day late this year). Lots of people, lots of food, lots of fun! I didn’t take a whole lot of photos, but here’s one of the girls before we left, wearing their new outfits.

Today we celebrated Boxing Day with my ILs coming up from the city to visit us. My MIL brought ham and scalloped potatoes for us to have a late lunch. Before they came though, DH put up Kaylee’s new curtains to match her new bedding set and we brought her new carpet in as well. The bedding set came with some dress-up fairy stuff, which Kaylee loves!
